The Map (Consultancy) Services commenced its operations in Feb 1991 with the intent to provide HR Consultancy to the client group across the industry. Over the period of time due to high growth, the software & I T industry have become the growth area.

The MAP strongly believes in People, Process & Policies to have coordinated impact on organizational effectiveness. The MAP has done several assignments in the Human Resource area in various industries. Some of such assignments are linked

The MAP was promoted by Mr. S S Lal who has Post Graduation from TATA Institute of Social Science in Personnel Management. Mr. Lal has worked in Corporate companies for over 24 years in IBM World Trade Corporation, Siemens India Ltd, Philips India Ltd, TATA Unisys Ltd and Blue Star Ltd. He is also a promoter and past president of the HR Infotech Association, a professional body of HR Managers in the IT Industry.

Mr. Lal's Professional areas are Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Selection and Induction, Appraisal, Counseling and Career Planning, Job-Evaluation, Compensation and Benefits, and Training, Development and Organization Development.
